What to Do if You're Contacted About Duty and Import Fees
If you’re contacted by a shipping carrier or seller requesting payment for duty or import related fees after your original purchase, here's what you should do:
- Reach Out to Customer Care: Please chat with us before making any payments.
- Report the seller: You can report sellers using the online form.
Important Information
- Avoid Paying Import Fees Directly: Carriers and sellers should not be contacting you after purchase to pay extra fees. If they do and you choose to pay the import fees directly to the carrier or seller, please be aware that these fees cannot be refunded later by Walmart.
- Understanding Fee Compensation: Any fees paid outside of Walmart to the carrier or seller will not be refundable by Walmart.
