Walmart+ Assist

Walmart+ Assist is a program where eligible customers can join Walmart+ to enjoy free delivery from store, free shipping with no order minimums, video streaming & all the other Walmart+ benefits at 50% off the regular membership price. This program is offered to those who qualify for government assistance programs & can provide sufficient documents to prove their eligibility (if required). Walmart+ Assist members receive 50% off membership, giving them all benefits of Walmart+ for only $6.47/month or $49/year.
Eligible programs include SNAP, WIC, Medicaid, SSI, TANF, TTANF, NSLP & LIHEAP.

If Walmart is unable to verify your eligibility, Walmart+ has partnered with a third-party verification provider called “SheerID” to verify your eligibility for Walmart+ Assist. If required as part of the membership enrollment process, you’ll be taken to the SheerID website where you’ll be asked to fill out the eligibility verification form. Upon successful completion of verification, you’ll be asked to return to the Walmart site or app continue with your Walmart+ Assist enrollment.

SheerID is a third-party verification service that works on behalf of retailers to verify an individual’s affiliations. For information on their services, visit them at SheerID.com. For additional support with SheerID, visit the SheerID Help Center.

You may only need to show documents if your initial verification fails. SheerID will let you know what specific documents you need to upload to prove eligibility.

If you cannot provide acceptable proof of eligibility, we’ll be unable to approve you for Walmart+ Assist. You’ll still be eligible for a full price Walmart+ membership, which you can sign up for at Walmart.com/Plus. For additional support with SheerID, visit the SheerID Help Center.

Your verified status will be valid for one year from the start date of your paid Walmart+ Assist membership. Walmart+ will verify your eligibility for the program on an annual basis in an offline process without customer input for most cases.

If your annual re-verification fails, you’ll no longer be eligible for a Walmart+ Assist membership. Your plan will auto-renew for $12.95/month or $98/year plus applicable taxes until you cancel your membership. You’ll be notified via email about the changes to your membership plan. Walmart+ Assist continued

If you’re an existing member & want to switch to a Walmart+ Assist plan, visit Walmart.com/Plus/Assist. We’ll guide you through steps to verify your eligibility & switch plans. Upon selecting a new discounted plan, your old plan will be canceled & you’ll be refunded for the unused portion of that plan. Your new plan will start immediately. If we’re unable to issue the refund to the original form of payment, you’ll receive a Walmart gift card for that amount.

If you have accumulated Walmart Cash & switch to Walmart+ Assist, you’ll keep your Walmart Cash!

Payment and Billing

Credit cards, debit cards & PayPal can be used to purchase a Walmart+ membership.

You’ll be billed at the end of your free trial for the plan you selected at sign-up. After that, we’ll charge your credit card the applicable membership fee on a recurring basis for the term of the membership plan that you selected. To avoid charges for a new term, you must cancel before the end of the current term. You can cancel by visiting your Walmart+ account page.

Members will receive a confirmation email on the day of sign-up with trial dates, membership plan & renewal date information.

Yes. We’ll charge your credit card the applicable membership fee on a recurring basis for the term of the membership plan you selected. To avoid charges for a new term, you must cancel before the end of the current term. You can cancel from your Walmart+ account page or contact customer care.

Your membership will be canceled & you’ll need to reactivate.

If there’s a problem with your primary card at the time of billing, we’ll charge another card on file. Make sure you have the most up-to-date card on file.

No. You cannot use EBT cards for your Walmart+ membership fees. However, members can use EBT as payment for eligible items where accepted.

You can cancel from your Walmart+ account page or contact customer care.

While membership fees are not refundable, you’ll keep your Walmart+ membership & all of your benefits until the end of your current plan. To get access to your benefits again, you’ll need to reactivate.

Pause Membership

You can pause your membership to avoid being billed for one month. You’ll also lose access to your benefits during this paused period. Your membership will be paused at the end of your current billing cycle. Annual members can also pause their membership, which will begin at the end of the billing cycle.

When you pause your membership, you won’t be charged during the paused period. You also won’t be able to use your membership benefits from the time their current billing cycle ends until the pause period ends.

A member can pause their membership for one month at a time & up to three times in a 12-month rolling period.

Members can pause their membership at any time in their current billing cycle. If they pause their membership in the middle of a billing cycle, it will go into effect at the end of their current billing cycle.

Currently only paid annual & monthly members can pause their membership. If you’re on a discounted plan such as Walmart+ Assist, you’ll need to reverify your eligibility each year after your sign-up.

You’ll lose access to all of your benefits during the paused state. You’ll have full access again once your membership is resumed.

Free shipping with no order minimum

Items will be marked as “Walmart+ free shipping.” This may exclude some oversized & freight items, as well as third-party items not shipped by Walmart.

At checkout, your shipping fee will be waived.

Confirm that your item(s) are shipped by Walmart by looking for that phrase on the product’s detail page or the order review page during checkout. Confirm the items are not coming from your local store by free delivery, which has an order minimum of $35.

No, you can order as often as you want!

When available, same-day, next-day, two-day & standard shipping are available for eligible items.

Yes! You can order your groceries, shop for your home & more—all at the same time. Items sold & shipped by Walmart will be shipped free with no order minimum needed. Items from your local store will be delivered free during the time slot you choose & your order needs to meet the $35 order minimum.

Free delivery from stores

Book a time slot for your delivery that’s convenient for you, add items to your cart & check out. You can use the “in-store” or the “need it fast” filters & select “today” to see all the items that are available for delivery.

Yes. If your order is under $35, then you just pay the below order minimum fee of $6.99.

No. You get the same everyday low prices as you would in-store. Members also have no additional fees on orders of $35 or more.

No, you can order as often as you want!

Yes, you can save multiple delivery addresses.

On your account page, you can update under “Addresses.”

They vary by store, but there are time slots as early as 7am & as late as 8pm local time.

Time slots are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Delivery in 3 hours or less is available for an additional fee. If you need your items even faster, Express delivery can get your order in as little as 1 hour for an additional fee.

Delivery is free on $35+ orders for Walmart+ members! You get the same products at the same prices as in-store, so you can shop knowing you’re saving time without paying additional fees!

Burger King® savings

Active trial & paid Walmart+ members.

Walmart+ members can get 25% off one order per day on the BK® App or bk.com with no order minimum. Members can also get a free Whopper® with any purchase every 3 months with no order minimum. This offer is available for redemption one time in 2024. Starting 2025, members can redeem this offer the first day of January, April, July & October. It expires at the end of each 3-month period. Unredeemed offers won’t carry over into the next period. Both offers cannot be combined with a Your Way Meal deal.

Just link your Walmart+ membership with a new or existing BK® Royal Perks account.

Go to your Walmart+ member hub, navigate to “Burger King® savings,” click “Get started” then select “Get started now” on the benefit page. You’ll be routed to the BK® App or website where you’ll need to create a new BK® Royal Perks account using your Walmart+ credentials or link your existing BK® Royal Perks account by clicking “Link with a different account.” Once linked, you can go to the “Offers” tab on the BK® App or website & select an offer.

To get 25% off one order per calendar day, you’ll need to place a mobile order via the BK® App or website available for pickup in-restaurant, drive-through or delivery with an order minimum of $5 (excl. taxes) or curbside pickup where available. This offer can’t be redeemed in-restaurant orders. To get a free Whopper® with any purchase every 3 months, you’ll need to place a mobile order or redeem in-restaurant with your unique 6-digit Royal Perks ID, which can be found in the “My code” tab on the BK® App or website.

Video Streaming Choice

Choose either Paramount+ Essential or Peacock Premium (both ad-supported). Paid members who are registered with the Paramount+ Essential plan through their Walmart+ membership can upgrade Paramount+ to the ad-free Paramount+ Premium plan for an extra charge through their Walmart+ account hub.

Current Paramount+ & Peacock subscribers will need to first cancel any existing subscriptions to those services prior to activating through Walmart+. Once your final Paramount+ or Peacock subscription billing cycle is complete, visit your Walmart+ account hub & follow the steps to link your account to your selected streaming service and begin streaming!

If you’re on one of our free promotional upgrade trials, you’ll lose access immediately to the promotion if you downgrade or cancel the upgrade plan. If you change your mind, you can upgrade as long as you’re eligible.

You may switch your streaming service provider once every 90 days.

If you want to upgrade from the ad-supported tier of your current service, Paramount+ Premium is the only upgrade option at this time. If your current service is Paramount+, you can upgrade at any time. Your upgraded-tier subscription will start immediately & your monthly billing cycle will begin. If your current service is Peacock, you’ll need to wait until the end of the 90-day period to switch to Paramount+. Once you switch, you can then choose the upgrade option.

If you’re on the upgraded tier of your streaming service & downgrade to the ad-supported version, no refunds will be issued. You’ll continue to have access through the end of your billing cycle & will not be charged at your next renewal date. If you’re on the upgraded tier & switch to a different streaming service, you’ll immediately lose access to both the upgraded & ad-supported tiers of your current streaming service & will receive a prorated refund for the canceled portion of that service.

No action needed—your current streaming service will remain active.

Trial members are welcome to use the Video Streaming Choice benefit. Only paid Walmart+ members can purchase a plan upgrade (e.g., Paramount+ Premium).

Member prices on fuel

Using the Walmart app, Walmart+ members will receive 10¢ off per gallon at Exxon & Mobil stations (5¢ in AL & OK), up to 10¢ off at select Walmart & Murphy stations & member prices at Sam’s Club fuel centers.

There are three ways to access the benefit in the Walmart app:
1. Select “Member prices on fuel” on your Walmart+ membership page & follow the on-screen instructions.
2. Go to the “Services” tab, select “Member prices on fuel” & follow the instructions.
3. Open the universal scanner in the search bar on the home screen & scan the QR code at the pump to get started.

At Exxon & Mobil fuel stations, you can only pay at the pump & must use the credit/debit card linked to your existing Walmart+ account. At Murphy stations, you can pay at the pump using your credit/debit card or pay a cashier inside the fuel station using cash or a credit/debit card. At Walmart or Sam’s Club Fuel stations, you can pay at the pump using Walmart Pay, or pay an Associate inside the fuel station using cash or a credit/debit card.

Yes. You can prepay with cash, debit or credit card & receive member prices on fuel at all Walmart & Murphy fuel stations. If you’re at a Walmart fuel station, provide your barcode to the Associate inside the station. Just click “Pay with cash instead” when accessing the benefit in the Walmart app & the barcode will be generated. If you’re at a Murphy station, provide your 6-digit ID to the cashier inside the station. The ID can be found in the Walmart app while at the Murphy station, or by navigating (in-app) to Account > See all your Walmart+ benefits > Member prices on fuel > Start fueling.

Your member prices on fuel can’t be applied without the app.

No. There’s no limit to how many gallons you can get with member prices on fuel.

Mobile scan & go

With mobile scan & go, you can shop & checkout with your phone in stores. It’ll save you time & it’s contact-free. Just scan, pay & be on your way.

First, be sure to allow Location Access when you open the Walmart app for the first time (if you have previously not allowed this, you’ll need to update it in your phone’s settings). Then, open the Walmart app when you’re inside a Walmart store & select mobile scan & go. Simply scan items as you add them to your cart before checking out & paying directly from your phone.

Yes, mobile scan & go works in all Walmart locations.

No, but make sure that your location services are on for the app, so you get access to our virtual assistant to use scan & go, Walmart Pay, item finder & other services.

You can add payment methods including major credit & debit cards or update your payment preferences in your Walmart account.

Walmart+ members must go through self-checkout & scan the QR code provided in the app. You’ll then get your receipt & an Associate will be able to check your ID for age-restricted items, such as alcohol.

If you have reusable bags, you can bag your items as you shop, or you can bag your items at self-checkout when you scan your QR code & get your receipt.

Walmart+ Travel

Walmart+ Travel makes every trip more rewarding! Walmart+ members get up to 5% Walmart Cash when booking a trip through Walmart+ Travel, powered by Expedia. Members earn 2% Walmart Cash on airfare & 5% Walmart Cash on hotel bookings, vacation & car rentals, tours, activities & more. Members must book travel through WalmartPlusTravel.com. Non-members can book travel through Walmart+ Travel as well but won’t get Walmart Cash.
Walmart Cash will appear as pending in your ledger until your trip is completed. You’ll be able to redeem pending Walmart Cash 30 days after the completion of your trip or reservation.

Check your email inbox for confirmation sent by Expedia. Additionally, you can access your booking(s) by going to WalmartPlusTravel.com & selecting Trips.

If you’re booking a combination of air travel & other accommodations, you will receive 2% Walmart Cash on your airfare & 5% Walmart Cash on hotel bookings, vacation & car rentals, tours, activities & more.

The Walmart Cash you receive with the corresponding booking will be adjusted in your “pending” Walmart Cash balance within 24–48 hours in your account.

Pawp is a digital health clinic & telehealth platform for pet owners of dogs & cats that connects them with veterinary professionals. Pawp offers expert support, whether that’s a second opinion or general guidance.

The Pawp membership includes free 24/7 access to licensed veterinary professionals via text & video with unlimited on-demand virtual visits for up to 6 pets (dogs & cats only).

Go to your Walmart+ membership hub & find the Pawp benefit (“Free online pet care”). Select “Get started” & you’ll be prompted to create a Pawp account. This benefit is subject to Pawp’s Terms of Service found at Pawp.com/tos.

Pawp is included with your Walmart+ monthly or annual membership at no additional cost. Walmart+ members who activate the benefit will save $99 on the cost of a standalone Pawp membership. As an optional add-on, Pawp also offers Pawp members its Emergency Fund protection for $19 per month. This gives you access to up to $3,000/year in a pet emergency.

Upon sign-up you’ll be able to review information related to Pawp’s Emergency Fund protection & be offered the option to add the service. The cost for Emergency Fund protection is $19 per month & you’ll be billed by Pawp directly.

InHome is available in select locations & is an upgrade to your Walmart+ membership. InHome is an enhanced, tip-free delivery service using local Walmart Associates to deliver your order where & how you want it—even inside your garage or fridge! In addition to all the Walmart+ benefits, with InHome you also enjoy delivery where you want it whether in your garage, kitchen (even into your fridge) or to your doorstep. It’s $40/year for an annual InHome upgrade in addition to your annual Walmart+ membership fee, plus applicable taxes. A monthly InHome upgrade is also available for $7/month in addition to your monthly Walmart+ membership fee, plus applicable taxes.

Provide the email address associated with your Walmart.com account & Walmart+ membership in your OnePay CashRewards credit card application to ensure seamless account setup. Once you receive your account access, we will use this email to link the card account to your Walmart.com account & set your OnePay CashRewards Card as your default payment method for Walmart.com purchases to earn unlimited 5% cash back.

You’ll earn your welcome bonus when you open a OnePay CashRewards Card or a OnePay Walmart Spend card and make $75 in qualifying purchases within 30 days. The welcome bonus is awarded as points, which you can redeem as cash back or as a statement credit.

Points will be credited to your Cardmember points balance within 2–10 days following settlement of the applicable transaction. Once points are added to your Cardmember account, the points balance can be seen on your OnePay Points ledger. OnePay CashRewards Card members can redeem points either for a statement credit applied to your OnePay CashRewards Card balance or as an electronic deposit into a OnePay Cash account.
